These evenings provide members the opportunity to meet fellow alumni over drinks, converse with artists about their work, and navigate the city's arts scene. Previous special guests include Academy Award winners Michael Douglas and Milos Forman, Grammy Award winners Paquito D'Rivera and Wynton Marsalis, Tony Award-winning actor Brian Dennehy (CC '60), Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright, and the cast of Cirque du Soleil's Wintuk! Back by popular demand! CAAL Members were invited to FREE All-Pro Standup Showcase performance at Comix. As an added perk, the first round was free.

CAAL Members were also given a wrist-band at check-in that allowed them happy hour prices in the main bar both before AND after the show. There was a two-item minimum to attend for free!

Comix Comedy Club is a New York comedy nightclub featuring major comedians and established New York-area comics. Comix features headlining acts such as The Flight of the Conchords, Sarah Silverman, Roseanne Barr, Craig Ferguson, Kathy Griffin and more. Additional programming includes cutting edge alternative comedy, improv and sketch comedy, music, and variety shows. Comix also provides comfortable seating, unobstructed stage views, high-quality sound, and great food and beverages, including pre-show VIP dining packages and happy hour specials.
