Film
This new film stars Kevin Kline as an eccentric freeloader named Henry Harrison who escorts wealthy dowagers to art galleries and dinners. He takes in a young boarder (Paul Dano) who has a crush on a co-worker (Katie Holmes) and a penchant for cross-dressing. This outlandish buddy comedy of sorts may seem like pure fiction, but it is based on Jonathan Ames’s novel of the same name, about actual people from his life.
Directed by Shari Springer Berman '95SOA and Robert Pulcini '94SOA (American Splendor, The Nanny Diaries)
